Thyroid Hormones
  • You want a comprehensive check-up of your health
  • You want to make sure you're getting the important nutrients your body needs
  • You'd like to identify any personal health issues and get advice on improving them
  • You want to understand whether your female hormones are normal for your age
Our Well Woman UltraVit is a blood test which covers many of the main health issues that can affect women. It is our most comprehensive female health check and looks at everything from your risk of heart disease and diabetes to how your major organs are functioning. It includes vital tests for energy, like thyroid function, iron and essential vitamins and minerals and we take a look at your hormone balance to make sure your levels are where they should be for your stage of life. You can take our Well Woman UltraVit at any age, to help you understand your own personal risk factors which you can monitor over time. And with advice from a qualified doctor included with every test, you'll know what to do next to stay on top of your health.

This test is a venous blood test, which means that a blood sample is drawn from a vein in your arm by a qualified health professional. You can get this done at one of our partner clinics or you can have a nurse come to you.

This profile includes female hormones FSH, LH and oestradiol which are markers for menstruation, fertility and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Active B12 levels can be affected by use of vitamin B12 supplements. If you are taking an oral supplement then we recommend not taking it for one week prior to the test to ensure an accurate measure of your B12 levels. If vitamin B12 is being prescribed to you by your doctor then you should discuss with them how long to omit B12 supplements for.
