Dr Sam Rodgers MBBS, MRCGP - Medical director
Sam is a very knowledgeable GP who leads our ethical and clinical governance. When he’s not at the Medichecks office he’s working in a busy Southwark GP Practice or tapping into his creative side as a street photographer in London. Loved by our customers for his sympathetic and insightful responses, Sam’s reassuring style is a hit with everyone. Sam is excited by the power of technology to transform healthcare.
Dr Daniel Grant MBBS, BSc – Head of Medical Education
Dan runs our education programme with a real passion for preventative medicine. When he’s not reporting on results or delivering training and education to our sports-practice clients, he’s working on public health initiatives and is a NASA approved space doctor. As CEO of UK Wall Ball, as well as a team GB player, Dan is committed to getting all sections of society moving to improve health and wellbeing.
Dr Peter Prinsloo MBChB FRCP, FRCPath - Head of Clinical Governance
Peter's role at Medichecks is to ensure the highest standards in quality and governance, as well as reporting on results. He is a chemical pathologist consultant at an NHS hospital laboratory and has a keen interest in laboratory quality management and improvement. Peter has a passion for medical education and training and is also an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians.
Dr Emil Hodzovic MBBCh, BSc Sports and Exercise Science, ISSN Applied Nutrition
Emil is a member of our reporting team. When he’s not working for Medichecks he’s working in a busy A&E hospital as well as practising as a sports and nutrition coach. Emil is keen to help people improve their health and performance, whether through advising on nutrition and lifestyle or sports optimisation.
Dr Mari Thomas MBBCH
Mari is a member of the Medichecks reporting team. When she’s not working as a general practitioner or reporting for us, she loves to compete in CrossFit and triathlon competitions. Mari is also quite the adventure-seeker, having spent time with the Royal Navy travelling across the Atlantic, carried out a mountain rescue in a Sea King helicopter and trekked the Amazon rainforest whilst working as a medic. Mari’s focus is on disease prevention and health promotion.
Dr Hamed Kamali MBBS
Hamed is a reporting doctor at Medichecks. He is a CrossFit, power-lifting and plant-based doctor with a passion to improve the nation’s health through education and empowerment. With an interest in nutrition, sports science and prevention, Hamed is committed to helping people realise their health goals. Hamed has a special interest in harm reduction for IPED users.
Dr Anish Kotecha MRCGP, MBBCh, BSc
Anish is a member of the reporting team here at Medichecks. When he is not busy reporting for us or working as a general practitioner in South Wales, he loves to learn how to play the guitar and spend time with his wonderful wife and two beautiful children at home.
Dr Phillip Veal MBBCh, BSc, MSc, MRCGP, FFPH
Phillip is a reporting doctor at Medichecks. When he is not busy reporting for us, he is working as a general practitioner and a Public Health doctor with a particular focus on infectious diseases. Outside of work he is pretty busy with two small children but when he has a spare moment he enjoys reading and fitness training.
Dr Peter Darling MBChB
Peter is a member of the Medichecks reporting team. When he's not reporting for us, he is working as a GPST3 in a practice close to Belfast, Northern Ireland. He has a keen interest in minor surgery and joint injections. In his spare time away from the practice he enjoys playing guitar and going to see his favourite bands perform.
