  • You want a thorough health check that covers as many areas as possible
  • You want to see how your lifestyle is affecting your major organs and risk for diabetes and heart disease
  • You want to check your testosterone level
  • You want an easy and convenient way to check the main health risks that affect men
The Well Man UltraVit is an advanced blood test covering the key health issues that affect men. It includes tests for liver and kidney health, diabetes and heart disease risk as well as markers for energy and nutrition. It also includes a test for low T (testosterone) which is the male hormone responsible for libido, muscle mass and male fertility. It is designed to provide insights into a wide number of important health markers which can be monitored over time.

Because it is a comprehensive profile testing for many markers it cannot be done on a finger-prick sample taken at home. You will need to go to a partner clinic to have a blood sample drawn from your arm by a qualified professional, or arrange for a nurse to come to you.

Designed for men of all ages, this test focuses on many areas of your health which you may be able to improve through lifestyle changes. The test includes an online lifestyle and vital statistics questionnaire which we encourage you to complete when you take your test. This helps our doctors write a comprehensive, personalised report detailing what your results mean and what you can do to improve them.
Please ensure your sample is collected in the morning. Active B12 levels can be affected by use of vitamin B12 supplements. If you are taking an oral supplement then we recommend not taking it for one week prior to the test to ensure an accurate measure of your B12 levels. If vitamin B12 is being prescribed to you by your doctor then you should discuss with them how long to omit B12 supplements for.
