Dengue Fever Virus Antibodies Blood Test
Immunity (3 Biomarkers)
From the expert
Symptoms of dengue fever usually start within 4 to 7 days after you have been bitten by an infected mosquito and include a high fever, severe headaches, joint pain, muscle pain, and nausea. The rash may appear over most of the body 3 to 4 days after the fever begins, and then subsides after 1 to 2 days. You may get a second rash a few days later.
This blood test checks for the presence of the Denguevirus NS1 antigen, IgG and IgM Dengue antibodies to check for a past or current infection.
