Amoebic Antibodies

Amebiasis is an infection of the intestines caused by the parasite Entamoeba histolytica. The parasite is most commonly transmitted through contaminated food or water and is more common in those who live in tropical areas with poor sanitary conditions. Amoebic antibodies are produced by the body following an Entamoeba histolytica parasite.
